Prenatal Vaccine Brochure in 17 Languages!

Dear Readers and Immunization Supporters,

As many of you know, our group formed during COVID-19, when we realized that improving public health messaging concerning vaccines in pregnancy was not only necessary, but it would save lives. We called our group “One Vax Two Lives” to emphasize the dual benefit that vaccines have for both the mother and the fetus. Recently, we developed a brochure to inform pregnant patients about the four vaccines commonly recommended in pregnancy.

Debra Berliner and Elisabeth Beaber (Public Health – Seattle & King County) asked if they could collaborate with us on the brochure to make edits, obtain input from Community Health Centers, and develop a companion Discussion Guide to help providers navigate these conversations. The brochure and Discussion Guides are now completed, and happily, they translated the brochure into 16 other languages (thanks in part to Leah Lukban)!

Here is the link to access the 17 brochures, discussion guides, and QR codes that go directly to the English brochure and other Adult Immunization Resources. You are welcome to distribute them through your networks and clinics. Saving these brochures to clinic desktops is an inexpensive way to make the information readily available to patients. Anyone with the link can access and download the information.
